My name is Andrea Di Fede. I edited L'ombelico Magico - The magic legacy (2016, Special Mention at the 34th Bellaria Film Festival), Scuola in mezzo al mare - School in the middle of the sea (2018, preview at the 25th Visioni Italiane), Kemp (2019, international competition at the 15th Biografilm Festival).
For the television, I edited the documentary series Stili Ribelli - Rebel Styles (2019, broadcast on Sky Arte), finally arriving in fiction cinema with the arthouse film Pluto (2022). Since 2018, I have been a member-worker of Kiné Società Cooperativa and a freelance editor.
After graduating in Visual, Musical and Theatrical Arts from the University of Bologna, I began my career as a videomaker, shooting and editing various short films and music videos for emerging singers. In 2013, I began collaborating with the production companies Kiné (Bologna) and Vezfilm (United Kingdom), as well as with the national association Home Movies (The Italian Family Film Archive), working as a small-format film restorer, cameraman and editor.
I have been working in the film industry for over ten years, gaining experience as an editor and in various other roles, including archivist, video assistant, and director of photography for videos and documentaries. In the production department, I have worked as a production delegate, assistant production secretary, and production assistant.
